And don't forget the healthy part of it: almonds and olive oil are excellent foods for skin beauty; carrots are excellent for eyes and are great antioxidants; and all this spices are great antidepressives.
2/3 cup oatmeal
1 cup wholewheat flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup virgin extra olive oil
2 tablesponns baking powder
1 cup chopped almonds
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup unsweetened apple juice
3 medium grated carrots
2 tablespoons mixed spices (cinnamon, allspice, ginger and cloves)
Calories per portion: 320
Mix very well all the ingredients (don't worry about which comes first, just be sure they are all well amalgamated.
Place the mix in a plumcake stamp (lined) and place in pre heated oven (180 °C) and let bake for at least 40 minutes (pierce with a knife and if it exits clean, the cake is ready).
